The All Wales Mediation Network

The All Wales Mediation Network

The All Wales Mediation Network

As part of the new Respect and Resolution Policy, we have set up an All Wales Mediation Network. The network is there to support and expand on internal mediation services and will not interfere with any internal processes.

Referrals

Initially, all referrals should come from the Healthy Working Relationships Leads or Trade Union representatives in each organisation to ensure they are appropriate and cannot be supported by internal processes.

Mediations may be referred to the All Wales Network if:

What is the process?

We have tried to keep the process simple to make it as easy as possible to access the service. You simply complete the form below to request for a mediation to be picked up by the National Mediation Network and a coordinator will arrange for a mediator to contact the parties to discuss. We need some basic information to be able to do that and the parties will be contacted within 48 hours of us receiving that information.

Who is the network made up of?

The network is made up of Accredited Professional Workplace Mediators from UHBs across Wales. They are trained to provide Mediation via MS Teams using a co-mediation model with a focus on restoring relationships. The training provided by CMP Solutions is endorsed by the ILM, The Civil Mediation Council and the College of Mediators giving them ‘Trained Mediator’ status.

How do I get involved?

We are really keen to attract a range of mediators that reflects the diversity of the NHS Staff in Wales. Your application process begins with submitting an expression of interest . As soon as we have training places available, we will let you know and will interview all applicants. Please see the attached the success profile .
