HEIW Internship Programme
Following the 2021 Summer Internship, HEIW were able to offer one student a year long internship opportunity to work in several different areas of the organisation, ensuring valuable work experience, witnessing first hand the day-to-day challenges of the NHS. The year-long internship is a great way of getting hands on experience, building great networking opportunities, increasing motivation and confidence.
What we offered
Development
Gain valuable work-based experience and develop skills that compliment the undergraduate degree. You'll also have access to a range of Masterclasses.
Support
You will be provided with mentoring support from HEIW staff, as well as a buddy system.
Benefits
A Band 2 salary plus a number of benefits including paid annual leave, NHS pension and health service discounts.
