Networks and Peer Support

Developing the People Profession

There are a range of networks and groups available for the NHS Wales People Profession, providing opportunities to connect with other People Professionals, to gain new skills and learning on key topics.

The CIPD online community is a place to learn, debate and connect with other HR and L&D professionals.

NHS Staff Networks are dedicated workspaces that empower, unite and contribute to a fairer and more inclusive work environment. They are hubs of connectivity and support for NHS staff, dedicated to creating a more equitable and diverse NHS accessible to all.

Some examples of Networks include Care Experienced Peer Group, Disability & Wellbeing Network and NHS England Women's Network.

The Institute of Health and Social Care Management has a number of Special Interest Groups (SIGs) available to members.

These SIGs highlight particular themes and functions within Health & Social Care and meet to network and plan events and reports.

The NHS Employers Networks enable you to connect, share knowledge and inform the decisions that impact the NHS workforce.

Some network examples will include 'Do OD' Network, NHS Employers Health and Wellbeing Network, NHS Terms and Conditions of Service Network and Widening Participation Network
