To ensure that staff health and wellbeing is front and centre of all the decision making, there needs to be Board accountability and responsibility at all levels. It is still important that we provide staff health and wellbeing resources as interventions and prevention, however, this approach alone will not sustain the workforce. Every decision we make, must centre on the health and wellbeing of the staff that are delivering the service for our patients and communities we serve in Wales.
