This area is designed to support that ambition by creating a leadership resource available to anyone involved and interested in nursing and midwifery in Wales. The aim being to develop leaders at every level with the right values, behaviour, knowledge, skills and confidence to build a culture of compassionate and inclusive leadership throughout health and care settings in Wales. Compassionate care and leadership improves health outcomes in health and care settings, and compassionate leadership seeks to attract, continuously support and develop a flexible and agile workforce who feel valued and are valued.
This platform offers leadership development opportunities tailored for nurses to enhance their current skills and experience. We aim to support individuals in their journey of growth as leaders, encouraging compassionate leadership for greater influence and impact.
