Clinical Leadership Immersive Programme (CLIP) creates leaders who role model compassionate behaviours through four key areas: accountability, risk appetite, decision-making and self-awareness.
Through a blend of scenario-based learning and experiential activities, participants have reported transformative outcomes — from increased confidence to enhanced experiences for both patients and staff.
What is CLIP?
CLIP provides a safe and immersive space for individuals to actively understand the traits of an effective leader and to identify areas for growth and strength. CLIP is dedicated to developing clinical leaders who are:
- Accountable for their actions and influence
- Able to make clear and confident decisions
- Willing to take calculated risks using their professional judgement
- Self-aware of their own leadership presence
Who is it for?
Those working within the primary care space in roles such as the following or similar:
- Cluster and Collaborative leads
- Practice Managers from all contracted professional groups
- Practice Registered Nurses
- Advanced Clinical Practitioners (including therapists, ANPs, APPs and Pharmacists)
- Pharmacy Technicians
- Optometrists and Dispensing Opticians
- Dental Staff (nurses, hygienists, therapists)
- Physician Associates
These may have an equivalent role in a health board of Bands 6-8a.
