Compassionate Leadership develops compassionate cultures and is embodied in how we attend, understand a person's challenges through dialogue, empathise and help by removing obstacles in their work and helping to ensure they have the resources they need.
The Shaping Culture and Leadership in NHS Wales is a package of presentations, activities and resources that can be used to train your workforce on compassionate leadership.
This Module focuses on what is compassionate leadership, why compassionate behaviour matters, the four elements of compassion and resources available to enhance collaboration and sharing knowledge.
This Module focuses on why team and inter-team working is vital in health and social care; the five elements of team psychological safety and the role of Compassionate Leadership in sustaining them; and the key principles for working effectively with other teams and organisations.
This module focused on how compassionate Leadership creates direction, alignment and commitment; how ompassion, inclusion and valuing diversity can be integrated and applied; how to developing skills for ensuring Compassionate Leadership is collective leadership; and to access the national resources and tools available to support in the delivery of effective, inclusive and collective leadership.
This module focuses on how to understand and apply knowledge about core needs at work; how to develop the understanding and motivation to practice self-compassion; how to have an understanding of recovery, ways to wellbeing and the practice of RAIN; and how to develop action plans and brief for self-directed learning.
